Friday 25th    January     The Don Weller Quartet  A great tenor saxophonist  However jaded you may feel after the  
Christmas festivities just a few bars into listening to this band will set your spirits right. With John Donaldson on piano, Andy
Clyndert  on bass and Dave Barry on drums this is jazz at it’s best . Admission @ £13.50 per person

Friday 22nd February        The Alan Barnes Quintet with Alan on a variety of horn instruments and Bruce Adams on
trumpet. Alan is now a regular at Chilham and as one of our guests said  after his last concert here - “Alan could do no wrong
for me” As good as it gets. Admission @ £13.50 per person

Friday 21st March        Jaqui Hicks with Martin Shaw and the Brian Dee Trio. "Jaqui is the best we've got" Digby
Fairweather. "She is world class" Paul Lacey leader band leader of Back to Basie where she is the lead singer. Jaqui has also
featured on recordings with Shakatak, Matt Bianco and on the soundtrack of the film Tomb Raider II. Guests are in for a real
treat. She's bubbly, has a great stage presence ..and ... the music is ...
S'wonderful.  Admission @ £13.50

Friday 25th April        The Matt Wates Sextet. I just love this band. Matt’s alto saxophone playing seems
effortlessly sublime and the band is really put through it’s paces from slow ballads to express train tempos with  
exceptional smoothness. Admission @ £13.50 per person

Friday 23rd May        Sarah Moule with her backing quintet. Sarah, for me, was the surprise find as a jazz
vocalist. There are a lot of very interesting female singers coming on to the scene but this lady can  sing and be
counted with the best. Admission @ £13.50 per person

Friday 20th June        The Echoes Of Ellington Orchestra. Pete Long leads this great 17 piece outfit with
some truly beautiful arrangements by ace arranger Alan Prosser. From the A Train to C Jam Blues this evening
will be an event to treasure. Admission @ £20 per person

Friday 25th July         Cubana Bop  An exciting Latin/ Afro/ Cuban jazz sextet who will be making their second
appearance at Chilham. A must for latin jazz enthusiasts. Admission @ £13.50 per person

Friday 22nd August     The Dale/ Milverton Quartet with Craig Milverton on electric piano and Hammond
organ & Martin Dale on tenor sax. This quartet really swing. Admission @ £12.50 per person   

Friday 26h September      The 17 piece big band of Georgina Bromilow .. a must for big
                                    band enthusiasts. Admission @£20.oo per person

Friday 24th October         Martin Drew & The New Couriers with Martin Drew                               
                                             (Drummer to Oscar Peterson for 20 years), Steve Melling on Keyboards, Jim Hart
                                             on vibes, Mornington Lockett on tenor sax and Paul Morgan on bass. Put this lot
                                             together and you get a lot of explosive jazz. Admission @ £13.50 per person

Friday 14th November      Andy Prior is Frank Sinatra backed by the Pete Long Octet.
By huge popular demand after the rip roaring success of their appearance at Chilham last November we think
this is a great way to end the last concert season of 2008. So popular we put them on 2 consecutive nights
