Music that is so infectious that you will have a job sitting still in your seats. From the
beginning to the end of the concert the audience  will be glad they came to this show. The
Jive Aces have performed in over 25 different countries and with a host of international
celebrites including Isaac Hayes (soul man)  Tony Christie  Rolf Harris  Lionel Blair  Kenny
Ball  Tom Cruise  Bobby Davro  and appeared often at Ronnie Scotts, the Pizza Express  On
the Frank Skinner Show and at several international jazz festivals. Their music is jump jive in
the style of Louis Prima ... but they are not copyists  .. this is the real thing. Here's what some
critics have written "Easily one of the best hot, young swing bands from Europe that's taking
America by storm" "the band play together with precision and feeling. Indeed the Jive Aces
are one of the most popular bands on the modern jive circuit"        Here's the line up

Ian Clarkson        Lead vocals and trumpet. Great showman inspired by Louis Prima
                               Frank Sinatra & Dean Martin
Vince Hurley        On keyboards, Vince has the sobriquet "The Professor" earned from his  
                                honours degree in music  from the London College of music.
                               Think Jerry Lee Lewis on steroids.
John Fordham     "Big" John, a Maori from Auckland New Zealand, plays tenor & baritone   
                                 saxes & clarinet in a style reminiscent of Earl Bostic
Peter Howel        On drums Pete was inspired by the sounds of Basie and Ellington
                              and is a driving force for this non stop exhilarating band
Ken Smith            Ken is an enthusiastic, acrobatic, left handed bassist who was also  a       
                               great dancer who won London's Swing Dance Champion for three               
                               years running from 1983
Alex Douglas      On trombone Alex duels with the horn section and is quite a showman

So there you have it .. Six very talented, exciting young musicians who are determined that
you will leave their concert rejuvenated and regardless of national and international bad
news, feel that you're still glad to be alive
